Cold Country Organics is run by me, Clare Mathiasen, with my brilliant husband Mads (when he’s not away running our adventure travel business in the Himalayas) and our small offsider, Oskar. We are so happy to be the lucky people to carry on what Tom and Anji Hunt started up in 2016 and we love that we can continue bringing the organic goods to the New England, Tamworth and surrounds! Huge thanks to Tom and Anji for building this service and for all the brilliant ideas that make it work! Cold Country Organics was founded on a love for good food, healthy living and sustainable farming. We want to make it easier for people to access (to demand?!) food that actually nourishes you and your family while supporting Australian farmers who produce food that regenerates the landscape. We bring you certified organic produce and local chemical-free produce (we don’t want expensive certification to be a barrier to entry for small, local producers, as local food is a critical part of reclaiming our food systems!!) from farmers we know and trust.
