Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School is an academically selective, day and boarding, Public high school for boys, located at Calala, a small suburb of Tamworth, in northern New South Wales, Australia. It is the only public agricultural high school for boys in Australia. The school has outstanding facilities including: a number of well equipped and newly refurbished science laboratories; seven computer rooms as well as wireless access in all classrooms; a well-appointed library, with a dedicated area for senior students, which is staffed to make it available after hours; excellent Technology and Applied Studies workshops (including metalwork, woodwork, graphic design and food technology); quality Music and Visual Arts facilities. The construction of Trade Training Centres on the Farrer Farm and at Brewongle (which were completed in 2012) ensures that Farrer continues to have outstanding agricultural facilities which make it a leader in agricultural education.
