A variety of activities are eligible for funding such as the following successful recipients from Round 7 which included building upgrades for St Vincent De Paul at Werris Creek, a first aid defibrillator for Currabubula Pony Club, along with wheelchair access for the Yarrowitch Community Hall. This program provides $150,000 for the New England, as previously offered by the Coalition Government. Successful applicants received a grant between $2,500 and $20,000. The maximum cost cannot exceed $50,000, and project completion will need to occur by 31 December 2023. This round of grant funding will be up to 100 per cent of eligible project costs except for local governing bodies where grant funding will be up to 50 per cent of eligible project costs. The importance of funding smaller projects is vital to the fabric of local communities in the New England. A maximum of 20 projects will be funded across the electorate, so you will need to hurry.
