The business’ heritage dates back to 1968, having originally been a partnership between Phil Guilfoyle & Ray Inglis. The Harvey Black Group is the parent entity which purchased the business in 1995, then trading under the banner of Black Truck Sales. Following the acquisition of sites in Toowoomba & Gatton in 2018, and the cementation on the agricultural sector of the business, the transition in 2018 to Black Truck & Ag seemed a natural progression. This change reflected the incorporation of a growing range of brands and sectors of the business, whilst still remaining family and owned operated and steeped in heritage and experience.
